In town there are some obstructions and rough roads. Exploring the island requires the electric wheelchair. The islanders are warm, friendly and helpful, and very positive to assist if any obstacles are met.

An experienced physical therapist, familiar with para- and tetraplegy and MS, is available on the island

Ground floor;
• shower stall, toilet, and wash stand fit for wheelchair use
• drive-in size cloakroom
• laundry equipment operable from a wheelchair
• bedroom with plenty wheelchair space
• kitchen with low level central work top with induction cook top and double sink,
oven at work top level and fridge/freezer with free wheelchair access
• spacious shed for wheelchair storage
• patio with barbeque and outside kitchen


Between floors there is a hydraulic wheelchair lift operated by handheld control

First floor;
• guest bathroom fit for wheelchair use
• spacious bedroom
• living room with access to the roof terrace
• spacious one level roof terrace
